The BTEL scholarship is awarded to students planning to continue their education at the college or university level.
Applicants must have an outstanding high school scholastic record. They must enroll at a college or university with a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintain a grade-point average of 2.75 (on a 4-point scale). Applicants must be residents of Brazoria County, Texas.
Scholarship winners may be awarded amounts of $8,000 or $1,000, payable upon proof of registration at the beginning of each semester.
(Applications must be submitted to the BTEL office no later than 90 days prior to beginning of the semester that the scholarship would be awarded).
