This scholarship is awarded to students who are planning to continue their education at the college or university level.
Applicants must have outstanding high school scholastic record. Must enroll at a college or university with a minimum of 12 credit hours. Must maintain a grade point average of 2.75 (on a 4 point basis).
Must be a resident of Brazoria County,Texas. Amount $8000. $1000 payable upon proof of registration at the beginning of each semester.
 (Applications must be submitted to the office of Brazoria Telephone Company no later than 90 days prior to beginning of the semester that the scholarship would be awarded).
